THIS IS CURRENT 2012 Komen Race information!

PARENTS

If you want to join our team, go to the Komen website...  www.komenie.org and select JOIN A TEAM.   Once you do that, scroll down til you find our team name.  We are DMS FOR THE CURE.   Once you sign up there,  we will get a master list and be able to pick up your t-shirts and bib numbers.  We will pass those out to students the Friday before the event.  If you want me to pick up your shirts, please join the team by WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 10th.  It costs $20 for students 18 and under and $30.00 for adults.   

On October 21st , we meet in the DMS parking lot at 7:00 am and walk over together to the 5 K walk/run. The run starts at 8:00 a.m.  Those who want to run are encouraged to do so.  In fact, the first two students across the finish line get a pizza at lunch to share with their friends.   For those who want to walk, they can walk together or set their own pace.  

Please note:  There is no supervision provided AFTER the race.  Student are free to leave or stay and participate in the festivities after the race.  Please make a plan about how and when your child will return home after the event.   We will all go our separate ways after we cross the finish line!
