Students New to TVUSD

Documents required for enrollment for 2013-14

  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunization Record showing the mandatory Tdap booster (grades 7 & 8)
  • Proof of Residency - Yearly requirement (Current gas or electric bill from your primary residence address, in your name, dated within the last 60 days. Online service copies accepted.)
  • Transcripts/Transfer or Withdrawal Grades
  • IEP or 504 Plan (if applicable)
  • GATE Placement (if applicable)

  • Free and Reduced Lunch Application
  • Parent’s Rights – Directory Information
  • Form 506 Indian Education Grant

forms for Special Circumstances

  • Court orders
  • Approved Intra or Inter District transfers
  • Approved caregiver affidavits

Important Dates

 

April 1, 2013

Beginning today, new student registration for 2013-2014 will be accepted in the office. Registration instructions for returning students will be sent home soon.

May 15, 2013

6th grade orientation for incoming 6th grade students at DMS 9:30 a.m.

May 15, 2013

Parent orientation for incoming 6th grade students in the Multi-Purpose Room at DMS 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

May 24, 2013

Online registration confirmation for returning students due to their DMS Advisement class.

July 1, 2013

Online registration for incoming 6th grade students and returning 7th and 8th grade students will begin. Instructions to be sent home soon.

August 8, 2013

9:00 - 1:00.

Schedule pickup/Textbook distribution begins at DMS for all 6th grade students and students new to TVUSD. Students are to pick up class schedules and textbooks, and may purchase PE clothes, school planners, yearbooks, ASB cards, and PTSA membership.

August 9, 2013

9:00 - 11:00

All 7th grade students are to pick up class schedules and textbooks, and may purchase PE clothes, school planners, yearbooks, ASB cards, and PTSA membership.

August 9, 2013

12:30 - 2:30

All 8th grade students are to pick up class schedules and textbooks, and may purchase PE clothes, school planners, yearbooks, ASB cards, and PTSA membership.
