Students are to report to the attendance office if they arrive late. Morning and classroom tardies are cumulative and will result in detention and discipline points. According to the California State Education Code, three unexcused tardies (30 minutes) are considered truancies and will be reported to the County School Attendance Review Board (SARB) and consequences will result. Morning and classroom tardies are cumulative.
- 5 tardies per semester = 1 day lunch detention
- 10 tardies per semester = 2 days lunch detention
Tardies will continue to be calculated and at intervals of 5 after 15 tardies, students will be suspended for defiance. Proof of doctor, dentist or court appointment will clear a tardy.
