School Social Worker (Mrs. Yvette)

This is my fourth year at DMS, and I’m so excited to continue being a part of this amazing community! I’m a wife and a proud mom to two wonderful kids—a 5-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. Outside of work, I enjoy going to concerts, cheering on the Dodgers, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from La Sierra University and then completed my Master’s Degree in Social Work at California Baptist University. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in various roles within Riverside and Orange Counties, including providing case management, connecting families with resources, and offering therapeutic support, including counseling for children and older adults.

I’m deeply passionate about supporting students and helping them grow into the best versions of themselves. At DMS, I provide individual and group social-emotional support, focusing on building the skills students need to succeed emotionally and academically.
